Makinde To Ife Federal Constituents: ‘Hold Me Responsible, If Famurewa Misbehave As A Senator’
A call has gone to the people of Ife federal Constituency by their former representative, Hon Rotimi Makinde who is adjudged as one of the best that was ever privileged to serve his people as lawmaker.
He was speaking at Elder council while inaugurating a 10 members powerful committee headed by Hon Kunle Ojuade to ensure the victories for all APC candidates in the zone.
Makinde analyzed the need to ensure his people vote for Asiwaju and to extends same vote patterns to those legislators that would help him to perform effectively.
While mobilising for the party senatorial candidate in the district, Hon Ajibola Famurewa, the former house of representative who urged his people to vote for Famurewa said he (Makinde) should be held responsible, if Famurewa fails as Senator.
He said: When we fail to set boundaries and hold people accountable, we can be used and mistreated as electorates.
“Hold me responsible, if Famurewa fails as our senator
On behalf of my people, I have peeped into the heart of Hon Ajibola Famurewa. He will not disappoint the people of Osun East and especially the people of Ife federal constituency.
He further said: “Failure of representatives to do the needful is always because we do not set benchmark for them and this is why we sometimes attack who they are, which is far more hurtful than addressing a behavior or a choice from the onset
Hon Israel Ajibola Famurewa is our best choice to represent us and without discrimination”, he concluded.
