The general perception of the election in Ila Local Government as monitored by our Correspondent was that of peace and and tranquility.
The ancient town as usual was quiet with people going about their businesses in some parts and electorates casting and monitoring their votes in other parts.
At most polling units visited as at the time of filing this report, electorates who have cast their votes were seen deliberately seating at the polling units with no intention of going home until their votes are counted and announced.
