Just In: Lawyers Storm Court To Stop Announcement Of Adamawa Guber Election Results

Lawyers are presently before Justice Inyang Ekwo of the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja seeking to stop INEC from announcing result in the Adamawa Election.

The governorship candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in 2023 Adamawa State governorship election, Senator Aisha Ahmed Binani, has approached the Court sitting in Abuja, seeking a judicial review of the administrative decision of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in respect of her declaration as the winner of the governorship held on March 18 and April 15, 2023.

Senator Binani is also seeking an order of prohibition and certiorari preventing INEC and its agents from taking any further steps towards the declaration of the winner of the election pending the determination of her application for judicial review.
