Police Nab Three Suspects For Stealing Goat In Gombe
The Gombe State Police Command on Friday confirmed it has busted three suspects who specialized in stealing goats.
The suspect, according to the State Command Public Relations Officer, ASP Mahid Abubakar carries out their operations in the Malam Inna and Wuro Kesa communities in the Gombe Local Government Area of the state.
ASP Abubakar said the gang uses tricycles to steal goats from different locations and sell the animals to make money.
New Telegraph gathered that they ran out of luck when police operatives, acting on an intelligence report, swooped on them in their various hideouts.
The suspects are 20-year-old Abdulaziz Abubakar, 25-year-old Abdullahi Shuaibu, aka Dealer, and 18-year-old Hassan Adamu, 18.
“The case will soon be charged to court for prosecution. Exhibits recovered include one tricycle and one goat,” Abubakar noted.
He also announced the arrest of 12 other suspects for criminal conspiracy, theft and armed robbery.
One stabiliser, Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus, six mobile phones, wrappers, sharp cutlasses, one MP3 player and two knives were recovered.
