SA Regional Integration, Adekilekun, Felicitates Osun LG Caretaker Chairmen
The Special Adviser to Governor Ademola Adeleke on Regional Integration, Barrister (Dr.) Kamal Adekilekun has charged the newly appointed Chairmen and members of the Caretaker Committees of the various Local Governments, Local Council Development Areas and Area Offices in Osun State to see their appointments as a call to serve their constituents.
Barrister Adekilekun in a congratulatory message issued to felicitate the new appointees urged them to use their offices and resources available to them to deliver dividends of democracy to the people at the grassroots.
He noted that that the last time people at the grassroots enjoyed dividends of democracy was during the last PDP administration when resources available at the council areas were used to provide basic needs of the people such as boreholes, rural electrification, construction of blocks of classrooms and constant maintainance of rural roads.
The Special Adviser, however ,called on the new local government helmsmen to extend olive branches to those who might be agrieved about the appointments in one way or the other so as to consolidate on the achievements of Senator Ademola Adeleke as the State Governor.
The legal luminary equally called on all party members in the state to rally round the Council sheriffs so that they will be able to achieve resounding successes during their tenure.
He commended Senator Ademola Adeleke for justifying the confidence reposed in him by the electorates, maintaining Senator Adeleke has shut the mouths of his political opponents through various programmes, policies and projects being executed since his assumption of office.
