Osun Lawmaker Ends Coaching Class With Career Talks, Offers WAEC Scholarship, Distributes Exercise Books To Students

The honourable representing Ayedire Local Government at the Osun State House of Assembly, Hon. Oderinwale Elisha (Minister), Friday staged a career talks to mark the end of a free summer academic coaching class organized for Secondary School students of the Local Government covering Ileogbo, Oluponna, Kuta and Oke Osun.

Over 2,000 pieces of exercise books were equally distributed to the beneficiaries of the coaching exercise.

The event was held today at Ileogbo City Hall, Ileogbo, the headquarters of Ayedire Local Government.

Best students from each principal community were also awarded WAEC and JAMB scholarships while 30 others offered free WAEC form.

It could be recalled that Hon. Oderinwale launched a free summer coaching class for senior secondary school students across Ayedire State Constituency to refresh students academic during the holiday.

The occasion was witnessed by the Osun State House of Assembly Speaker, Hon. Adewale Egbedun.

Speaking at the event, Honourable Oderinwale urged the students to prepare themselves against the future challenges through academic dedication and commitment.

He equally assured his constituents of quality and qualitative representation as he called for their support in the interest of the local government.

“I’m assuring my noble constituents of quality and qualitative representation. The government of Governor Nurudeen Jackson Ademola Adeleke is committed to masse’s oriented programmes in education, health, road network, worker’s welfare etc”

“The free summer class is just the tip of the iceberg. I will give priority to education by ensuring students are qualitatively engaged. For this summer class, we engaged over 2,000 students”
