The Department of State Services (DSS) has assembled a crack team of detectives, to interrogate suspended chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission(EFCC), Mr. Abdulrasheed Bawa.
This followed the arrival of Bawa at the headquarters of the intelligence agency in Abuja, shortly after his “indefinite” suspension by President Bola Tinubu based on “weighty allegations of abuse of office”.
The Secret Service, in a terse statement by its spokesperson, Dr. Peter Afunanya, said: “The Department of State Services (DSS) has invited Mr. Abdulrasheed Bawa, the suspended Chairman of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
“Bawa arrived a few hours ago.
“The invitation relates to some investigative activities concerning him”.
