Makinde Donates 74 Patrol Vehicles To Oyo Police Command , Commissions Newly Reconstructed Ojoo Police Divisional Headquarters

Newly reconstructed Ojoo police divisional headquarters in Ibadan razed during the nationwide ENDSARS protest was today commissioned by Oyo State Governor , Seyi Makinde as part of efforts aimed at ensuring security of lives and property in the state just as he donated 74 security patrol vehicles to the state police command

The Governor who commissioned the new police divisional headquarters built by the his administration donated the 74 security patrol vehicles to the state police command for its various police division

At the commissioning, Governor Seyi Makinde explained that his administration would not relent in prioritizing security of lives and properties by giving necessary support to various security bodies in the state

While assuring that everybody that lost something during the ENDSARS protest would be duly compensated by his administration, Governor Makinde urged youths and citizens to refrain from destructive tendencies for public properties during protest.

Earlier, the commissioner of police, CP Adebowale Williams, acknowledged that though the newly reconstructed police station was a dark reminder of the past, but has engendered the police force to work more in maintaining a robust relationship with the people, adding that police stations as public property should be duly maintained by all.

In his remarks, Special Adviser to the Governor on security, CP Fatai Owoseni Rtd; enumerated various achievements of the current administration to boost security in the state and stressed that the Omituntun 2.0 agenda would intensity effort of ensuring zero tolerance to crime and criminality in the state.
