YPF Congratulates Tinubu On His Inauguration, Charges Him To Revamp Existing Refineries

A sociocultural group, Yoruba Progressive Forum , YPF has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a successful swearing-in ceremony and assumption of office as the 16th democratically elected president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

The group in a congratulatory message signed by its National Coordinator, Alhaji Lateef Olalekan and made available to journalists in Abuja, expressed optimism that with the successful inauguration, there is renewed hope in the Nigeria project.

According to the statement, with the President’s wealth of experience, the country will at no distance time be witnessing rapid growth and monumental development, urging the people of the country to give the needed support to the president in his bid to take the country to the next level.

The group however, urged the president to reunite the people of the country just as it enjoined him to do everything within his reach to work towards strengthening the security in the country.

“Mr President, your victory at the polls and successful inauguration are watershed moments in the history of our country. As law-abiding citizens and patriotic citizens, we supported your journey to the presidency and we shall continue to stand by you even as you assume office.

“We want to urge the president to use his wealth of experience to bring to life the lost glory of the country. The president should ensure he uses every legal and legit means to reunite the people of the country.

“He should ensure that the people of the country begin to sleep with their two eyes closed without the fear of not being attacked.

On the issue of fuel Subsidy Removal, YPF appealed to Nigerians to be patient with president Tinubu, expressing optimism that the present situation will soon be a thing of the past.

We call on President Tinubu to as a matter of national urgency work towards revamping the three already existing refineries in the country to ensure the steady supply of petroleum products in the wake of his bold and courageous decision to remove subsidies on petroleum products.

“This according to the group, will develop not just the nation but also the local economies of the communities they are sited, create more jobs and building the skills of Nigerian youths in the petroleum sector for even global jobs”

The group however prayed to God to fill President Tinubu with wisdom, insight, the health of mind and sound judgement to move the country forward.
