Nigerians Demand Autopsy Result As Police Reveals Cause Of Mohbad’s Death

Following the brief update on the cause of Mohbad’s death by the Lagos State Police Command, Nigerians have taken to their respective social media pages to react to the development as they demand for the autopsy result.

CityMirrorNews had earlier reported that the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Idowu Owohunwa said Mohbad died out of the three injections administered to him by an auxiliary nurse.

Speaking at a press conference on Friday, October 6, CP Owohunwa said Mohbad’s death was caused by an injection given to him on Tuesday, September 12, by auxiliary nurse, Feyisayo Ogedengbe.

According to him, on September 11, Mohbad’s friend Ayobami Sadiq, also known as Spending, called the auxiliary nurse, who then administered three injections to Mohbad on September 12 ultimately causing his death.

He said; “She is the principal suspect in the death of Mohbad. She acknowledged that it was the injection she administered on the deceased that triggered the reactions which eventually led to Mohbad’s death. Other experts’ opinions and witness statements corroborated her admittance.”

“The commissioner also added that: “Her actions of administering doses of Tetanus toxoid, paracetamol, intravenous and cetrazone injection which was also administered intravenously on Mohbad at his residence on 12th September 2023, immediately triggered the reaction including vomiting, goose bumps and convulsion that eventually resulted in the singer’s death”.

The video sparked mixed reactions on social media, as many have taken to their page to demand for autopsy result, stating that the autopsy result is supposed to know the cause of the singer’s death.
