Just In: Traders Count Losses As Fire Razes Shops In Osogbo

Property and goods worth millions of naira were on Monday destroyed, following a fire outbreak at Olaiya, Osogbo, Osun State capital, where
building used for stores were razed
Although, no life was lost to the fire incident.
CityMirrorNews gathered that the inferno which started around 5am on Monday morning raged for about one hour before the arrival of State Fire fighters.
The fire also affected a shop dealings with rices, grand nut oil, beauty and accessories shop.
Speaking with our Correspondent at the scene of the incident, a trader, Mr Uche John said the two shops were completely razed.
He added that all the goods kept in the shop were razed down before the arrival of Fire Fighters.

Another eyewitness, Chukwudi said goods worth millions of naira were totally destroyed.
The cause of the inferno could not be ascertained as traders in the area said there was no electricity light in the said shops as it has been disconnected by the IBEDC few days ago.
