Omituntun 2.0: Makinde Names Ogunwuyi, Lolade As Transition, Inauguration Committee Chair, Secretary

Ahead of the commencement of a new political dispensation on May 29, 2023 Inauguration, Oyo state governor, ‘Seyi Makinde on Friday named his Chief Of Staff , Hon Segun Ogunwuyi as the Chairman of a 15-man Transition and Inauguration Committee

The Committee also has the Special Assistant on Special Duties to the governor, Lolade Ajibola as it’s Secretary.

The state Commissioner for Information, Culture and Tourism, Dr Wasiu Olatubosun made this known during a press briefing shortly after the state executive council meeting

Olatubosun explained that the state excos deemed it exigent to compose an Inauguration/Transition committee since the present government will not be handing over to an opposition government.

Other members of the committee include ; Dr Wasiu Olatubosun, Abdulmajeed Mogbonjubola, Dayo Ogungbenro, Demola Ojo, Barrister Adeniyi Farinto among others.
