Osun: Plot To Smear Araj Reputation Uncovered

Some bigwigs of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Osun State are said to be fronting the blackmail and de-robing of Engr. Kehinde Raji – AARAJ as a deacon in a pentecostal church in Osogbo.

Findings revealed that the blackmail and de-robing allegedly sponsored by the close allies of the government of the day in the state is in a bid to further silence the Osogbo-born philanthropist

Feelers within the church says some stakeholders loyal to the cabal not Mr Governor in the Chapel have been commissioned to influence the leadership of the religious organisation to carry out the act.

A source who spoke to newsmen said: “It is rather unfortunate that someone who was deeply committed to the success of an administration is being treated this way.

“It is sad that our politicians have truly relegated the church to the background by bringing politics to the church. Why de-robe a deacon because of political differences? Has politics extended to the church?

“It is funny that at the same time, stakeholders are working for the full entrenchment of governance in Osun. Some have the time to pursue their perceived political enemies even to the church.

“We know they have been commissioned from Ede to do this, but we will not allow the desecration of the church because of politics. If those close to the government do not want to honour an agreement signed to pay all the debts owed AARAJI indirectly, why should they continue to blackmail him?”

A popular figure in the PDP in Osogbo local government said it is unfair that the current administration has decided to “maltreat” one of its staunch supporters who worked tirelessly for its emergence.

‘It is funny at the same time that someone who worked so hard for the party, putting his businesses and life on the line, will be told by the SSG, an indigene of Osogbo, that his file is lost. It is sad. They still want to de-robe him as a deacon. What has he done to deserve this? The leaders should have a rethink.”
