EFCC Grills, Detains Ex-Women Affairs Minister, Pauline Tallen Over Alleged N2bn Fraud
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has quizzed the immediate past Minister of Women Affairs, Pauline Tallen over alleged N2bn money laundering allegations
The former minister reportedly arrived at the Abuja Zonal Command of the Commission on Friday at 12pm and was grilled by investigators until 8pm.
Part of the money was allegedly diverted from the African First Ladies Peace Mission Project.
Details of the allegations were sketchy as the Commission’s spokesman, Wilson Uwujaren, could not be reached as of the time of filing this report.
This is coming hours after the EFCC interrogated the immediate past governor of Ekiti State, Kayode Fayemi.
