Subsidy Protests : DSS Operatives Storms Lagos Assembly
Operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) have arrived as protesters have stormed Lagos Assembly.
The protest is organised by the NLC in response to the federal government’s decision to remove fuel subsidies.
The NLC protest is being held in major cities across the country, including Lagos, Abuja, Kano, and Port Harcourt.
The union is demanding that the government reverse its decision to remove fuel subsidies and take other measures to address the rising cost of living.
The NLC issued a seven-day ultimatum to the federal government to reverse its decision to remove fuel subsidies. The ultimatum expired on Wednesday, and the NLC has called on its members to protest across the country.
This publication earlier reported that protesters at the National Assembly have pulled down the main gate leading into the complex.
