Osun 2022: Asiwaju Project Beyond 2023 Visits Media Houses, Itemises Why Oyetola Should Be Reelected

In a bid to ensure seamless victory for the All Progressives Congress (APC) and its Candidate, Gboyega Oyetola at the July 16th governorship election, the foremost Tinubu’s presidential support group, Asiwaju Project Beyond 2023 in the State has taken the case to the popular Radio station in Osogbo, where it had a meeting with the management of the station led by its Chairman, Mr. Femi Adefila and its manager, Femi Olanipekun.

While speaking on behalf of the leadership of the Project, the leader of the team, Comrade Adeboye Adebayo reiterated the commitment of the National Leadership of the project to the reelection of Governor Adegboyega Oyetola.

He noted that the incumbent Governor Adegboyega Oyetola has demonstrated tremendous commitments and efforts to bring good governance and dividends of democracy to the doorsteps of Osun people.

According to him, security of life and property is the bedrock of any society and he said Governor Oyetola has indeed done a lot to protect people’s lives in Osun and the State has continued to maintain its peaceful status. He noted that Amotekun, the security network in the state has been adequately trained and equipped with gadgets for intelligence and they have been enjoying successful collaboration with the police to secure the state especially along the border lines and in the forest. Also the Education policies and projects have been reeling out positive results that we can see where Osun State students have been leading in various external examination and competition around the country.

Adebayo also stated that the efforts of the Oyetola led administration is in top gear to take Osun from Civil Service status to an Industrialised state with ongoing collaborative efforts of the government and private sector at Dagbolu International Trade Centre where a lot of commercial activities will be taken place directly and indirectly which will create ten of thousands of sustainable jobs for Osun youths, it is a feat among others must be allowed to be completed by Oyetola in second term.

While speaking on behalf of other members of the team, the State of Osun Coordinator of Project Beyond 2023, Hon. Sikiru Tijani noted Oyetola’s government should be appreciated for his commitment towards welfare of the civil servants and pensioners in the state. It should be noted that Osun State is among few states in the country today that is up to date in contributing pensions scheme, the state under the administration of Oyetola do not default as it pays workers as at when due and promotions are given as at when due, car loans and other welfare packages are not eluding them. Pensioners too are enjoying their entitlements as a priority to the government.

The Woman Leader of the Project in the State Alhaja Hon. Dasola also said the APC and the State Governor, Adegboyega Oyetola is worthy of reelection as the administration has done a lot in the area of women and youths empowerment. She said through the ministry of commerce in the state, the government has provided realistic empowerment to numerous women and youths in the state through grants, loans and training, hence there are lots of ground for Oyetola to be returned.

Responding, the management of Rave FM through its Chairman, Mr. Adefila commended the Project Beyond 2023 team for running issue based campaigns, for coming out to identify with the burden that is attached to governance and promised that the station will be available to all candidates to have issue based discussion for the growth and development of the state.
