The foremost Tinubu presidential support group, the Asiwaju Project Beyond 2023 has congratulated the presidential Candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, former vice president Atiku Abubakar on his election to fly the party flag at the 2023 polls.

The Project also congratulated the PDP for holding an enviable primary elections.

In a statement released in Abuja at the early hours of Sunday by its National Director, Media & Publicity, Comrade Adeboye Adebayo, the project described Atiku as a democrat who his contest with Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu will be an interesting one next year.

“We monitor the presidential primary of the main opposition party and we must say that we are quite impressed by the way the party coordinated itself orderly and congratulate Alhaji Atiku Abubakar on his emergence as the winner of the election as we look forward to an interesting presidential contest between him and our principal, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu who by the grace of God will win the APC primaries and fly the APC flag” Adebayo said.

The Project then advised the leadership of the APC to toe the just and fair path like PDP that ensure sense of belonging among numerous party members and internal party democracy which is a strong principle of democracy anywhere in the World.

“It is our hope and advice for the leadership of our party, APC to toe the line of justice and inclusion by stopping the hide & seek game going on within the party that is putting unnecessary pressure on the party faithfuls across the country, take the bull by the horn, screen the candidates, clear them and allow the party men and women to choose our presidential candidate for us in a free & fair primaries like the PDP so that the current leadership of the party as led by Adamu Abdullahi will be on the good side of history” Adebayo stated.
