Engr Saheed Ganiyu Drums Support For Oyetola Second Term Bid
—Says He’s Is A Financial Wizard

A Chieftain of the APC and
House of Representatives aspirant for Ayedire/Iwo/Ola-Oluwa Federal Constituency, Engr Saheed Ganiyu has praised Governor Gboyega Oyetola for the economic gains in Osun state under his administration, attributing the development to the financial prowess and understanding of the state governor.
Ganiyu who described Oyetola as a financial wizard said despite the meager resources and slim allocation accruing to the state as monthly allocation, due to inherited debts, Oyetola has done better than expected considering the state’s financial situation.
He stated this while addressing Stakeholders at a meeting held in Iwo, where he officially declared his intention to represent Ayedire/Iwo/Ola-Oluwa Constituency at the Federal House of Representatives, Abuja.
The Iwo born young politician said Osun’s fragile economy would have probably collapsed if not for the display of the exceptional stewardship and leadership skills of Governor Oyetola in managing the very lean resources of the state.
He noted that within the space of three years, Governor Oyetola had performed tremendously well in the area of human and Infrastructural development saying there is no any sector the governor had not touched.
He noted that if given the opportunity to represent the people of Ayedire/Iwo/Ola-Oluwa Federal Constituency at the lower chamber , he would do everything within his reach to ensure he complements the efforts of the governor in a bid to take the state to greater heights.
He said: “I respect our indefatigable governor for his Financial prudence. As a matter of fact, Gov Oyetola could be better described as a financial wizard who had turned the state around within the space of three years despite the meager resources and slim allocation accrued to the state monthly as a result of inherited debts .
“Oyetola has Performed tremendously well in the area of human and Infrastructural development. He is a man of his words , a silent achiever who had displayed high level of of exceptional stewardship and leadership skills
He further said If he’s given the chance to represent his people, he would ensure adequate representation just as he promised to facilitate job opportunities for the teeming unemployed youths in the Constituency.
“If my request is granted by the leaders and the entire members of our great party to represent them, I will make sure I facilitate job opportunities in federal parastatals and agencies by creating awareness on recruitment process.
“Admission into tertiary institutions and support indigent but brilliant students. Skill acquisition programme.. NDE.. Training and retraining. The world has gone digital, I will create opportunity for our youths in ICT.
“Social intervention, networking globally to secure opportunity for women, aged and the vulnerable. Facilitation of credit facilities for youths and our women to start up business. Provision of technical support for artisans, technicians and self employed individuals.
“We will give adequate support to our Governor to the extent that our constituency will be recognised and honoured with tangible appointments.
He, therefore, urged the people of the state to allow the governor continue the and ensure they come out enmass come July 16 and cast their vote for him saying the good work must not stop.
In their separate remarks, Hon Oyayeye, Alh Sikiru Adetona and Bar Gbadegesin Adedeji appreciated the contributions of Ganiyu to the party and advised him and his supporters on the need to keep the flag flying in their struggles for the reelection of Gov Oyetola
Other stakeholders at the meeting are; Asiwaju Gbadegesin Adedeji, Prof Ladipo, Prof Aderemi Abubakar, Hon Kamorudeen Alao (APC State), Hon Gafar Amere (former HoR member), Alh Dele Nafiu, Hon Amos Akindiya ( SUBEB, Commissioner) and host of others.
