Aremo Greets Christians At Christmas, Says Oyetola Will Be Back As Osun Governor
As Christians in Osun join their counterparts across the world to commemorate the birth of Jesus Christ, with the celebration of Christmas, the Special Adviser to former Governor Gboyega Oyetola on Youth and Sports, Aremo Adegboyega Lateef Adelabu, has urged Christians to offer special prayers during the yuletide for greater peace, love, unity, peaceful co-existence and progress in the state and the country.
While felicitating with the people of the state and Nigerians, Aremo said Christmas is a season to show love and care for one another, charging Nigerians to use the opportunity offered by the season to enthrone peaceful co-existence across the country.
In a statement signed and made available to newsmen in Osogbo, the state capital, Aremo used the festive season to assured the people of the state especially youths that rapid development which the state witnessed during the immediate past administration would never stop as the peace loving Adegboyega Oyetola will at no distance time come back to take the mantle of power.
He said: “As the world celebrates Christmas, the birth of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, I call on all Christians, and indeed, all Osun people, to reflect on the virtues and teachings of Jesus Christ in their lives and activities, so that our state and Nigeria would be a better place for all of us.”
“I congratulate all Christians for witnessing yet another Christmas season. I advise all of you to use the festive period for sober reflections and total spiritual renewal and devotion towards living in peace and harmony with adherents of other religions.
“I must emphasis that peaceful co-existence and understanding among citizens are essential and I can assure our people especially youths that Ilerioluwa, the peace loving and God fearing man, Alhaji Isiaka Gboyega Oyetola would come back to rule the state as governor in no distance time to continue his developmental milestones achievements in the state.
By God’s Grace, APC and our amiable principal will celebrate 2023 Christmas with the good people of Osun state and the good work will continue to strive in the state .
