Ogunbiyi Joins Accord Party (AP),To Run For Guber Race In Osun

…To Declear Officially This Week Tuesday In Osogbo

The former Governorship Aspirant under the auspices of Peoples Democratic party (PDP) in 2018,2022 Guber Primary Elections,Dr. Akin Ogunbiyi has joined Accord Party (AP) in Osun state, slated this week Tuesday to formally declare his intention to run for the number one seat in the state.

Ogunbiyi, who was said to have been short-changed by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in 2018 and 2022 primary elections, has found relief in Accord Party, a political party he believes its structure is meant to alleviate the suffer­ings of the masses through agricultural industrialisation of the state.

The founder of the ‘Idera De Foundation,’ a business ty­coon and philanthropist, was a special guest of honour at the monthly parley of the As­sociation of Veteran Journal­ists (AVI), Osun State chapter, declared that education will be made free and compulsory at the primary level in the state if he is elected as a governor come July 16, 2022

His declaration is slated for Tuesday, April 26, 2022, at the Freedom Park, Osogbo where he will unveil his programs and manifestoes to the good people of Osun State.

The insurance guru said that Osun needed total trans­formation and with him and his running mate, Alhaji Kunle Jimoh, who is a veteran jour­nalist, at the helm of affairs, are passionate about the vision of ‘A New Osun is Possible.

As an entrepreneur, Ogun­biyi has impacted greatly on the Nigerian corporate land­scape with his footprints in al­most all sectors of the national economy.
