The annual conference of the Youths of the Plateau Baptist Conference will commence today, Thursday.
The 42nd conference with the theme “Ephphatha (Be opened)” will hold at Baptist Church, Gwafan, Lamingo, Jos, Plateau state between Thursday, 23 and Sunday, 26, 2022.
In a statement issued by the President of the Conference, Bro. Emmanuel Dang, 2022 annual conference will feature praise and worship, prayer, Bible study, Bible Quiz, sports, testimonies, and family meetings among others.
He added that special guests have been invited to handle different programs including a former President of the Nigerian Baptist Convention Youth Conference and a member of the NBC Youth and Students Advisory Board, Engineer Benjamin Gotan.
He said, “Our guest speaker this year is a seasoned lecturer from the Baptist College of Theology, Jos, Rev Bulus Yamusa.
“We are expecting the President of the Plateau Baptist Conference, Rev Dr Kenvyel K. Saleh, and other leaders of the Conference.
“This year’s annual session is a special one because this is the first one we are having after the restructuring of the associations and zones for efficiency.”
The conference is the annual gathering of the youths of Plateau Baptist Conference to praise God for the grace upon them; receive the word of God and be trained in different skills. Sports are also one of the major highlights of the conference.
