Just In: Unidentified Cult Group Storms Osun, Murders Prince

Tragedy has hit the palace of Oba Abdulahi Okunloye,the Olofa of Ofatedo, Yinusa Okunloye, as an unidentified cult group stormed his son residence and shot him dead.
The incident CityMirrorNews leant occurred on Saturday in Ofatedo, Egbedore Local Government area of Osun State.
CityMirrorNews further gathered that the 43-year-old Okunloye house was approached around 12am on Saturday, dragged out and later shot in the chest.
The people in the community was gripped with fear after sighting some men in a car welding guns around 8am on Saturday at Ofatedo.
The aftermath of the prince death has led to a roadblock as early as 8am in the community,while businesses were closed down.
When contacted the Osun State Police Command over the incident,the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Yemisi Opalola confirmed the incident.
Narrating to Journalists,SP Opalola said a group of suspected cultists about three in number invaded Olofa street, Ofatedo and called Okunloye out of his room and shot him in his chest where he later died.
She stressed that the remains of the prince has been deposited at UNIOSUN Teaching Hospital mortuary for autopsy.
Opalola however said no one has been caught responsible for the killing but promised that all efforts are on the desk to bring the suspects to book.
