It’s People’s Day again in Ede North, Ede South, Egbedore, Ejigbo Federal Constituency as the Lawmaker representing the Constituency, Rep Bamidele Salam, rolled out another round of empowerment initiative worth millions of Naira for various categories of beneficiaries within the federal constituency.
CityMirrorNews reports that Industrial Machines, Standard Sewing Machines, Deep freezers, Power Generators, Hair dryers, Granding Machines, Motor Bikes, Cash Grants, Tablets among other equipments were distributed to the beneficiaries in the federal Constituency.
CityMirrorNews recalled that Honourable Salam had earlier this month facilitated bursary awards for about 1,000 students of tertiary institutions who are indigents of the constituency.
The distribution of the materials and cash under the BS E4 Initiative was done at the Country Home of late Senator Isiaka Adeleke in Ede.
Speaking at the event, Elder Sister of Osun Governor-elect, Yeyeluwa Modupe Adeleke-Sanni who was the special guest of honour appreciated the philanthropic nature of Honourable Salam saying the politician symbolises what the administration of the People’s Democratic Party represents, which according to her is “giving back to the electorates.
She commended Salam for not leaving out people at the grassroots in his representation.
“This is wonderful and I believe this represents what the PDP administration under the leadership of Senator Ademola Adeleke will mean to Osun people – giving back at all times.
“We’re proud of our fantastic Honourable for what he has achieved so far. We believe electing him for second term will mean more development and benefits to all of us.” Mrs Adeleke-Sanni said.
She urged beneficiaries to reciprocate the gesture by trooping out en masses and vote for Honourable Salam so as to be able to continue in the tracks of bringing dividends of democracy to doorsteps of members of the Constituency and to complement the state Governor-Elect, Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke as he prepares to take mantle of the state.
Addressing over 500 hundred beneficiaries, the lawmaker urged them to remain steadfast in their support for the party and the Governor-elect, Senator Ademola Adeleke.
He also urged them to make judicious use of the items distributed to them, calling on them not to put them up for sales.
