Oyetola Distributes Free OHIS Enrolment Form To Transport Workers Across The State

Governor of Osun, Mr Adegboyega Oyetola has announced the free distribution of the enrollment forms of Osun Health Insurance Scheme (OHIS) to all Transport workers in the State to enable members of the Unions to enjoy quality healthcare delivery.
The Governor made the announcement of the free enrollment forms during a meeting with the executives of road transport workers across the State, saying OHIS is the best to have happened to Osun health sector.
Speaking further in the meeting, the Governor, who was represented by the Special Adviser to Mr. Governor on Works and Transport, Engr. Hussein Toke Olaniyan said the present administration has placed high value on the health of transport workers.
While promising that the present administration will continue to keep the promise of providing quality health care, the Governor enjoined the Transport Workers Executives in the meeting to support the Scheme by distributing the forms to all their members across the State.
He added that the Scheme will provide suitable access to quality healthcare service to their unions and members , with a little payment of ten percent(10%) out of the total bill.
The Governor thanked them for their cooperation with the present administration, noting that without them the movement of people might be a little difficult just as the economy will be affected.
Also speaking, the Executive Secretary, Office of Transportation, Engr. Bilal Adiat, enjoined Transport Workers in the State to reciprocate the good gesture of Mr Governor by casting their votes for him during the comming Governorship Election on July 16, 2022.
Unions present at the meeting were: Nigeria Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Road Transport Employer Association of Nigeria.(RTEAN), Osun State Commercial Motorcycle Owners and Rider Union.( OSCOMORUN), Mini buses( Korope), Tricycle Owners and Riders Association.of Nigeria.(TOAN), Union of Tippers and Quarriable Employer of Nigeria, Truck Quarry Drivers and Owners Association and Allied Truck Transporters Association of Nigeria.
