Osun 2022: AGF/Project Beyond 2023 Urges Residents To Participate In INEC Continuous Voters Registration

As the Gubernatorial Election draws nearer in Osun State, the State Coordinator of Asiwaju Grassroots Foundation and Project Beyond 2023, Comrade Sikiru Tijani has called on the residents of the state to take advantage of the ongoing Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Continuous Voters Registration (CVR) exercise.

Comrade Tijani, made the appeal while addressing members of the socio-political group, during their monthly meeting, held at the Ilerioluwa campaign office, Osogbo, Osun State capital.

He said it’s important for those above 18 years who have not yet registered to endeavor to take advantage of the exercise, those that want their voting points or unit and area changed, he said, should as well grab the ongoing opportunity.

He also urged them to endeavor to complete the process at designated centers from where they can obtain their Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC) to avoid being disenfranchised.

He urged members of the group to continue to canvass vote for the Governor of the state, Mr Gboyega Oyetola and ensure his victory comes July 19.

“I am Optimistic that our party will emerge victorious in the next Governorship election, while we continue to mobilize our supporters at the grassroots to participate in the exercise” he added.

Speaking on the 2023 Presidential Election, AGF Coordinator enjoined members of the group on the need to canvass for the presidential ambition of their principal, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu whom he said was ready to build on the Developmental strides of President Muhammad Buhari.

He noted that beyond 2023 project is a collective project which each and everyone of them should embrace and assiduously work towards making it a reality.
