Osun APC Primary Election: AGF Congratulates Oyetola As Winner, Calls On Agreived Members To Bury Their Grievances

Osun State Chapter of Asiwaju Grassroots Foundation (AGF) has congratulated the Governor of the state , Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola on his victory in the just concluded APC Gubernatorial Primary Election.
The group also extended its heart of gratitude to the members of the party for trooping out en masses and casting their votes for the people’s governor.
In a statement signed by its Coordinator, Comrade Sikiru Tijani and Secretary Comrade Yahaya Adeniji, a copy which was made available to newsmen in Osogbo on Sunday, the group said the landslide victory of the governor during the primary poll shows that the people of the state , especially the party members, appreciate the governor and his keen interest in the development of the state.
AGF noted that the Electoral Committee led by Kwara State Governor, Abdulrahaman Abdulrasaq, had done tremendously well by allowing every member of APC to exercise their franchise in the atmosphere of peace
The group expressed satisfaction on the conduct of the primary election, which it described as one of the fairest, peaceful and credible elections that the country has ever had.
“The entire members of Asiwaju Grassroots Foundation (AGF) in Osun State wish to congratulate and rejoice with our amiable Governor, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola on his landslide victory during the poll.
“The Residents of the state especially members of APC in Osun really resprocate the good gesture of the governor by trooping out en masses to elect the the governor to the party flagbearer in the coming July 16 gubernatorial election.
“We also commend the party Electoral Committee led by Kwara State Governor, Alhaji Abdulrahaman Abdulrasaq, for the work well done. As a matter of fact, we asserted that the process was strictly in line with electoral guidelines and democratic ethos.
“We averred that the process allowed every member of the party to exercise their franchise in the atmosphere of peace.”
They therefore urged the agreived members to bury their grievances and work together for the victory of the party in the coming gubernatorial election.
