Ado – Ekiti Lions Club, Sapphire Klub To Provide Agricultural Empowerment To Ilare Youths Tomorrow
Ado EKiti Lions Club in conjunction with De Sapphires Club through the Asiwaju of Ilare-Ijesa kingdom, Obokun East Local Council Development Area,Osun State will tomorrow, Saturday, 19th May, 2022 present Cocoa Seedlings, Palm Oil Seedlings, hoes and cutlasses to young farmers and youths in Ilare-Ijesa as part of the empowerment programmes of the Club.
According to a statement signed by the Asiwaju of Ilare, Engr. Oyedeji Olajubu, the programme will come up at the Owalare’s Palace by 10:00am.
The Asiwaju enjoined youths in the entire Ilare Community to be at the venue as early as possible in the morning to register their names for collection of the seedlings and farm implements.
He stressed that the empowerment is not politically motivated, but as a a programme to encourage the youths in Agriculture, food production, self sustainance and employment generation.
Expected at the programme are: His Royal Majesty, Oba Adejoro Otebolaku JP, Olori Elu, Eka-Osun, the Owalare of Ilare, the Owalare- in- Council and Community Leaders.
