2 Dead, 2 Injured In Ogun Auto-crash
Two persons have been reportedly dead in an accident involving one Toyota Haice with registration number LSD304XD and a M/Benz Truck, with registration number AGB174ZD along the Ijebu-Ode-Ogere area of Ogun state.
The Public Education Officer for Sector Commander FRSC, Ogun Sector Command, SRC Florence Okpe, in a statement made available to Blueprint Wednesday, stated that the accident was caused by route violation ( one way) on the part of the Toyota bus driver.
She noted that the injured victims were taken to God’s Favor Hospital for medical attention, while and the dead bodies were also deposited at the same Hospital Morgue Ijebu-Imushin.
“A total of 4 persons were involved which comprised of 3 male adult and 1 female adult. 2 people were injured and 2 death recorded from the crash.
“Traffic has been diverted to the other Lane, while efforts by FRSC Ogbere operatives and NPF MTD Ogbere Division is made for quick removal of the obstruction”, she added.
Meanwhile, motorists are advised to drive cautiously especially at night, avoid route violation, speed and dangerous driving.
The Sector Commander commiserated with the family of the victims and advised them to contact FRSC Ogere for more information about the crash.
