Shettima’s Antecedent Makes Him a worthy VP Candidate’s Choice – BATOC23

A political group, Bola Ahmed Tinubu Out Choice 2023, BATOC23, has disclosed that the All Progressives Congress, APC, Vice Presidential candidate, Senator Kashim Shettima’s antecedent makes him a worthy choice for the party.

In a statement issued by the group’s Director of Media and Publicity, Otunba Abimbola Tooki, the Director General, Dr Isiaka Owoade stated that Senator Shettima delivered dividends of democracy to the teeming populace of Borno state despite security challenge inherent in the state.

Owoade said the organisation sees him as one of Nigeria’s success stories since the beginning of the recent democratic journey and we are proud of his achievements in office as one of the best governors in the country.

“As a former governor, he was able to make his mark despite the challenges of insecurity. Crisis is the truest test of a man’s ability and Shettima proved his mettle.

“Serving his people in the Senate, he, Shettima, didn’t disappoint the electorates because he was able to fulfill his key campaign promises. One of the great things for which Senator Shettima would be remembered is the fact that he handed over the State to a competent and a worthy successor in the person of Prof. Babagana Zulum”, said the statement.

On the recent appointment for the party’s campaign organisation, the group described all the personalities as worthy of their appointment and disclosed that they can galvanized the party to successful outing at the 2023 poll.

Plateau State Governor Simon Lanlong was recently appointed to lead All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Organisation for next year’s election. The Minister of State for Labor and Productivity, Festus Keyamo, SAN, and Hannatu Musawa, a lawyer, were also appointed as spokesman and deputy respectively while Hon James Faleke and Mr Bayo Onanuga were appointed Secretary and Director of Media respectively.

“We are confident that these appointments and the experiences of the members are the needed tonic to realise much of the potential and possibilities for people oriented campaign and deepening of our cooperation in all areas for the mutual benefits of the country and its people in general.

“The appointment is perfect and strategic owing to their political sagacity, knack for development, social dexterity, and their unalloyed loyalty to Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu who by the special grace of God is the incoming President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria come 2023”, it added.
