Oyo Traditional Rulers Endorse Makinde’s Second Term Ambition

The Oyo State council of traditional rulers on Friday endorsed Governor Seyi Makinde for Second term in in office.
The monarchs , who were on a thank you visit ,unanimously took the decision citing Governor Seyi Makinde’s sterling performance and developmental strides across the state as reasons.
At the meeting, Okere of Saki, Oba Khalid Olabisis, Olugbon of Ilegbon, Oba Francis Alao and Olubadan of Ibadan, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Lekan Balogun who spoke in Yoruba on behalf of their colleagues outlined the achievements of the Seyi Makinde led administration noting that one good turn deserve another.
In his remarks, the acting governor of Oyo State, Barrister Abdulroheem Bayo Lawal lauded the traditional rulers for taking the bold steps by appreciating the laudable projects the administration of Governor Seyi Makinde had embarked upon in the last three and half years.
Lawal added that the present administration will continue to provide good leadership and dividends of democracy to the door steps of all Oyo residents.
The meeting had in attendance, Secretary to the State Government, Olubamiwo Adeosun, Chairman Governors Advisory Council, Senator Hosea Agboola, Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, Barrister Olasunkanmi Olaleye and the state party Chairman, Mr Dayo Ogungbenro..
