Okada Man Crushed To Death In Osun, Members Protests
There was pandemonium In Osogbo, the Osun State capital whene Commercial Motorcyclists Protest over the death of their Colleague who reportedly crushed to death.
CityMirrorNews gathered that the accident occurred on Thursday along Lameco-Okinni road , Agunbelewo area Osogbo.
The accident it was gathered involved a commercial motorcyclist, a minibus popularity called (Koropel) and a tipper
An Eyewitness account said the minibus (koropel) driver crashed the commercial motorcyclists (Okada) to death
Sources said one out three persons on the bike were seriously injured
Another eyewitness, Agboola Adeleke said that the driver of the minibus and one occupant escaped attack by angry motorcyclists who quickly mobilized to the scene of the unfortunate incident.
Reports said the affected road was blocked by Motorcyclist and suspected hoodlums before the arrival of policemen.
As, at the time of filing this report policemen were see at Lameco/Okinni road trying to forestall any possible breakdown of Law and Order.
They also wanted the authorities to act fast so as to forestall the possible escalation of the situation and breakdown of law and order.
Also officials of Osun Sector of the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) men of Osun State Police Command have been dispatched to bring the situation under control while the remains of the deceased had since been deposited at mortuary.
