Gunmen Invade Alao-Akala’s Farm, Abduct Supervisor
Christopher Bakare, farm supervisor of the late former Governor of Oyo State, Otunba Adebayo Alao Akala, has been kidnapped.
It was learnt that Bakare was kidnapped on Saturday evening at TDB farms located at Jabata area, Surulere Local Government area of the state.
A family source told our correspondent that the gunmen had made contact, disclosing that they are demanding the sum of N100million as ransom.
The source said: “Yes, he has been kidnapped. Those guys speak a smattering of Yoruba. He was kidnapped in the farm. We have been trying to negotiate with them even though the police have been informed.”
When contacted, the state Commandant of Western Nigeria Security Network, WNSN, codenamed Amotekun, Colonel Olayinka Olayanju, (rtd), said he was not aware of the incident.
