Lalong receives commendation for tackling insecurity

Plateau state Governor, Simon Bako Lalong has received commendation for tackling insecurity and establishing peace agency to tackle internal crises in Plateau communities.
Speaking on live NTA program, Hon. Nanbol Josiah Gommam expressed satisfaction with the step taken by the governor in handling security and how he is deploying different mechanisms in addressing the challenges of insecurity in the Northern parts of Nigeria.
He restated that the peace agency introduced by his government is yielding positive results in the state.
Gommam who is a security expert has contributed to a secured nation through his security outfit. He called on Nigerians to build synergy with security agencies in addressing insecurity.
He revealed that with all the ethnic nationality residents in Plateau state, we can see gradual integration of people and free movement of businessmen without molestation.
Gommam who is an aspirant on the platform of the APC, vying for the seat of Langtang Central state Assembly in 2023, assured of cordial working relationship with the people of his constituency.
According to him, the governor’s policy accommodate all the communities as projects are spread across the state. We have problem introduced by the past leaders which was focusing and developing one particular senatorial district with lopsidedness. Within the shortest period of 6-7 years, Governor Lalong resolved this problem.
Hon. Gommam emphasized that leaders must give attention to people oriented projects that have direct impact on communities.
He disclosed that the involvement of traditional rulers into the security network will help the executive address infiltration of foreigners smuggled into the states to wreck havoc on our poor and vulnerable people.
Gommam commended the APC convention committee scheduled to hold on Saturday, saying the exercise would further strengthen the party faithful in states and national.
He implored all democrats to forget their differences and work hard for the victory of the APC ahead 2023 general election .
He added that all hands must be on deck to remove sentiment and ensure that the party retain power in the country, as he harps on mutual respect for each other.
