OAU Student’s Death: Court Resumes Proceedings, As Pathologist Gives Evidence
The case involving the owner of the Hilton Hotel and Resort, Dr Rahman Adedoyin who was arrested in connection with the murder of Timothy Adegoke, a postgraduate student of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) has commenced in order to give room for the pathologist to give evidence before the court.
CityMirrorNews reports that Adedoyin alongside with his hotel workers namely
Madgalene Chiefuna, Adedeji Adesola, Adeniyi Aderogba, Oluwale Lawrence, Oyetunde Kazeem and Kunle Adebayo were brought into the Court, in Osogbo for trial amidst tight security.
During today’s sitting, a Consultant Pathologist from the University Teaching Hospital, Osogbo, Dr Waheed Akanni Oluogun said tissues were taken from the wound sides for microscopic examination of the internal organs which showed normal Autolysis or tissue.
He said result came out that there was bleeding into that tissue or wound area.
According to him, at the beginning, there was complete skeletinization of the entire upper limb with separation of the left elbow joint and left wrist joint.
He certified the cause of death to be severe hemorrhage Secondary to severe traumatic injury.
