NAAT Congratulates First FUTA Female Vice Chancellor, Oladiji
National Association Of Academic Technologists (NAAT), FUTA Branch have congratulated the newly appointed and first female Vice Chancellor of the Federal University of Technology, Akure, Professor (Mrs) Adenike Temidayo Oladiji for her emergence in the fiercely and keenly contested post of the Vice Chancellor.
Recall that the Governing Council of the Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA), had last week appointed Professor (Mrs) Oladiji of the Department of Biochemistry, University of Ilorin, as the Eighth substantive Vice Chancellor of the University.
According to NAAT Chairman, Dr. Bello Olawale, Prof. Oladiji is a renown professor of Biochemistry from University of Ilorin with lot of administrative and academic experiences saying that the association believe she will bring to bear her wealth of experience for the development of this great university.
The NAAT Chairman, therefore, thanked the University Governing Council under the Leadership of Amb. Dr. Godknows Igali for the transparency and due diligence committed to the process of the appointment of new VC.
The new Vice Chancellor will assume office on 24th May, 2022 after the expiration of the tenure of office of outgoing VC, Prof. Joseph Adeola Fuwape on 23rd May, 2022.
Dr. Olawale, on behalf of the association, therefore, assured the new VC of their unalloyed support and cooperation throughout her tenure.
