Aagba Day 2022 Celebration Holds Saturday, Gov Oyetola, Others To Grace Occasion

Osun State Governor, Gboyega Oyetola and some other prominent Nigerians are expected to grace this year Aagba day celebration billed to hold on Saturday, November 19th , 2022

CityMirrorNews reports that the 23rd Aagba celebration is scheduled to take place at Methodist Primary School at 10:00 am

According to the Chairman, 2022 Aagba day Planning Committee, Prince (Barr ) John Abolarin Abidoye , this year celebration will feature Fund Raising and Award presentation to some illustrious sons and daughters of the town.

Abioye said as part of the activities lined up for this year’s celebration, there would be a free medical outreach on Friday 18th at the Oba Abidoye Memorial Town Hall at 9:am.

He added that there would also be a friendly football match at 3:pm at AUD Primary School Playground and Eko(Pap) Night at exactly 6pm at Oba Abidoye Memorial Town Hall.

According to Abioye , HRM , Oba Rufus Olayinka Ogunwole Kujosin l, Alaagba of Aagba would be the royal host while Prince (Arc) Banjo Odudare , Chairman, Aagba Development Council will be the Chief host.

“Pa Martins Adeniyi is the Chairman of the Day, Alhaja Moronike Ogunjinmi (Iyaloja General) is mother of the day while Son of the Day is Barr Tomiloba Olagunju.

“Prince Adeyemi Ogunwole is appointed as Youth of the Day and Alhaja Modinat Olatunji (Nee Oyetunji is the Daughter of the Day.

“Prominent guests of the day are ; Prince Atilola Odudare (A.T), Mr Bola Ogunjinmi(BOLTON), Mr Bode Adedini(B.A.P), Alhaji Nurudeen Femi Sanunsi, and Hon Isaac Bamigbegbin, Chairman, Boripe North Local Government Development Area (LCDA)”.

“Compound Chairmen are ; Pa Yakubu Fagbemi(Baale Ile Olofa) Chief Kasaliyu Olusinde (Baale Ile Jagun)

“Expected clubs: President, Eju Elegba club , Aagba, Aagba Progressive likeimnds club, Ibadan, Aagba Likeminds club”

They therefore urged the residents of the ancient town to come and en masses and eschew anything capable of causing crisis before, during and after the programme.
