The foremost support group canvassing for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s presidential bid in Nigeria, Asiwaju Project Beyond 2023 held a strategic meeting at its Maitama, Abuja Secretariat yesterday.

It was a full house as the National Executive Members from the six geopolitical zones of the country turned out for the meeting and are all in high spirit, prepared and ready to work assiduously and break barriers to take the messages of Bola Tinubu to the friends’ house and enemies’ den.

Speaking with newsmen after the meeting, the National Director, Media & Publicity of the Project, Comrade Adeboye Adebayo said the meeting was a huge success as reports of successes and challenges were brought from each geopolitical zones of the country and measures were immediately put in place to resolve the challenges.

His words “As you can see, everywhere is full of life and our people are in high spirit. The meeting was a huge success as everyone turned out for it. Our Director General, Barrister Realwan Okpanachi welcome everyone to the meeting as he described our Principal; Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a true democrat with sterling qualities who is the best man to take over from President Mohammodu Buhari at this critical time of our nation.”

“Okpanachi said Tinubu, a detrabilsed Nigerian displayed such capacity as a governor in Lagos State where he had people from all geopolitical zones in his cabinet and turned around the fortune of Lagos State socially & economically within the shortest possible time and also initiated templates for long term developments of the state and if such is replicated at the National level, it can only be better for our nation” Adebayo said.

“There were also reports of huge successes and some little challenges of our Project in some zones when we were deliberating on our Strength, Weakness, Opportunities & Threats. Our Zonal Mobilisation Directors; Hon. Buhari Hussaini North East, Hon. Adamu Birniwa, North West, Hajia Halima Bababubu, North Central, Sunny Ekojah, South South & Marcelo Anyigor, South East stated our strengths and weaknesses in the zones and measures were put in motion to militate against those weaknesses” Adebayo said.

“Mr. Ali Balogun, our Director of Finance, Hajia Hafsat Usman, Director of Women Affairs, Engr. Tijani Sulaimon, Director Planning & Strategy & Mr. Olanrenwaju Laide, Deputy Director Planning & Research and host of others commended the leadership of the project for putting in place a Serene environment at our Secretariat, they also urge all other officers to relate well, cooperate with and support the state chapters to ensure Tinubu’s Presidency come 2023” Adebayo noted.

Adebayo reiterated the commitments of the project to ensure Tinubu’s presidency come 2023 as the project immediately put machinery in motion for real politicking and political scheming to educate, consult and mobilise Nigerians across board in order to expand the support base for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

He also noted that Asiwaju Project Beyond 2023 has promised to purchase nomination forms for the members of the project who show interest in contesting for the National Executive positions of the APC at the upcoming National Convention of the Party.
