2023: N4BAT Inaugurates Campaign Team For Tinubu/Shettima In Osun

Nigeria for Bola Ahmed Tinubu (N4BAT), a campaign group rooting for the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his running mate, Kazeem Shettima, has inaugurated its campaign team in Osun State.

Over 1,500 people comprising Local Government Executives and ward coordinators were inaugurated to start canvasing votes for APC at their various localities.

At the event which took place at the local government service commission’s hall, Abere on Tuesday, the participants said they were working for the actualisation of Tinubu’s presidency.

Speaking at the inauguration on Tuesday, the state Coordinator (N4BAT), Elder George Adedeji emphasised the need for the group to channel its efforts to the grassroots level in order to achieve its objectives.

He stated that “N4BAT is different because we are focusing on the grass root, at the unit level. You see elections are won at the unit level once you loose at the unit level there is no point. So we are focusing on the unit level.

“With the people we have here today, comprising of local government excos and ward coordinators we have over 1500 people here today, so we are very much read”.

He added that all the coordinators were selected based on their performance and commitment to supporting APC in the state.

Adedeji said that the vision for the group is to achieve the vote of 36 States of the federation, the 774 local government area, and FCT to ensure the victory of Asiwaju.

He also said that their part of their aims is to mobilize the grassroots, promoting peace, unity and progress among the members and to strong force within Nigerian political space.

“We are focusing on the grassroots, the unit-level, elections are won at the unit level, our unit level is very loaded that’s why we are called bottom loaded.

“Nothing by God’s grace will stop him from being the president of Nigeria, God is in lead with us.

In his address, the state Governor, Gboyega Oyetola represented by his Special Adviser on Political Affairs, Honourable Sunday Akere expressed confidence in Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s capability of tackling insurgencies in the country.

His words “he will tackle the menace of insecurity when he gets there as the president. When you look at the history of Lagos state, you know what he did in terms of security lapses when he took over, he made a notable change”
