Tunde Adeyemo’s Death: Osun Has Lost A Progressive-minded, Developmental Journalist- Osun ALGON

The Forum of the Council Chairmen in Osun under the umbrella of Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), have commiserated with the immediate family and members of Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Osun State Council, over the demise of Mr. Tunde Adeyemo.
The Council bosses in all the 69 Local Government Areas, Local Council Development Areas, Area Councils, and Adminstrative Offices in the State, also sympathized with the management and entire staff of Osun State Broadcasting Corporation (OSBC) over the death of their own, who until his transition, was a newscaster, chief reporter, presenter and editor in the news and current affairs department of the corporation.
Adeyemo was the Chairman OSBC Correspondents’ Chapel. He passed on early this morning after a brief illness.
The Chairmen’s condolence message was conveyed through the State ALGON Chairman, Hon. Samuel Idowu Abiodun on Monday.
They described the late Journalist as a thoroughbred professional, versatile and quintessential journalist, and a rare symbol of pen profession in the State, whose passion for developmental journalism second to none.
The Council Chairmen further said that the late OSBC Correspondents’ Chapel Chairman was a loyal person, and positively-progressive to anything he believes could bring development to the State.
According to the Chairmen, Adeyemo had in several occasions used his journalistic prowess to promote ALGON’s activities in the State as well as the developmental strides of Governor Gboyega Oyetola.
They acknowledged the remarkable roles played by the deceased in keeping members of the public informed and educated on the happenings in the State while alive.
They therefore prayed God to rest the soul of the deceased and give his immediate family, relatives and associates he left the fortitude to bear the lost.
