Hon. Rasheed Olalekan Afolabi representing Ifelodun, Boripe, Odo-Otin Federal Constituency in Osun State has landed in a five hundred million naira suit over an allegation made against Chief Moshood Adekunle Oluawo (MUSADEK).
In the law suit No. HOS/33/2022 instituted by Chief Moshood Adekunle Oluawo, the Plaintiff is urging the court to award against the Hon. Rasheed Olalekan Afolabi a sum of five hundred million naira and a written apology to the Plaintiff to be filed in the national daily over allegations of assassination leveled by the Defendant against the Plaintiff at the Department of the State Security Services.
It was gathered that the Defendant sometime in October 2021 wrote a petition to the DSSS alleging that some Hoodlums attempted to assassinate him along Lokoja in Kogi State on his way to Abuja and that the plaintiff was his principal suspect.
The DSS did its investigation and discovered that there is no merit in the petition to warrant holding the Plaintiff culpable in the allegations.
Consequently, the Plaintiff filed this suit to seek remedies against the Defendant’s allegations.
