Student Killing: NAOSS Cries For Justice, Commiserates With Ede Poly

National association of Osun state students, Naoss has commiserated with the family and friends of a graduand of The federal polytechnic Ede, Osun State, Hassan Adedeji who was recently shot dead by a suspected cultist.

The NAOSS president, Comrade Yusuf Agboola best known as Justice in a statement signed by his media Adviser, Jamiu Omoniyi in Osogbo noted that the Association will not fold its arm in the face of such brutality against its member.

Comrade justice, said no effort will be spared in ensuring that the culprits are prosecuted to serve as deterrent for other evil minded individuals.

He called on the Osun state commissioner of police to intensify efforts on the investigation into the urgly incident that claimed Hassan Adedeji life, alongside a motorcyclist in Ede town.

The students’ leader commiserated with the management of the polytechnic, The Timi of Ede, Oba Adesola Lawal as well as Governor of the state, Alhaji Adegboyega Oyetola for the irreplaceable lost among the future of the state.

He also warned all students of the state to shun any illicit group, cultism and stay clear of political violence.

According to him, “injury to one is injury to all, hence, all Osun state students demand justice for one of us, Hassan Adedeji who was brutally murdered by unknown Gunman.

“We also believe that justice delayed is justice denied and we charge all concerned stakeholders to apprehend the culprit and bash the sledgehammer of law on them.

“We will not keep silent, no matter how long investigation last.”

‘Punch’ reported that The Public Relations Officer of the polytechnic, Sola Lawal, confirmed the incident and condoled with the colleagues and family of the deceased.

He said, “Hassan Adedeji, a Higher National Diploma graduate of Banking and Finance of our polytechnic awaiting his call-up letter, as well as an Okada rider, were shot dead yesterday (Wednesday) night.
