Osun ALGON Chair, Samuel Idowu Abiodun Extols Wife On 60th Birthday, Retirement

The Chairman of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), Osun State Chapter, Hon. Samuel Idowu Abiodun, has congratulated his wife, Deaconess Comfort Motunrayo Abiodun on the occasion of her 60th birthday anniversary.

He also felicitated with his wife for her successful retirement after 30 years of diligent and meritorious service to the State of osun and humanity.

Abiodun who described his spouse as a “rare gem, gift of God and mother-indeed” said having a woman like her had been the best that has happened to him on the planet earth.

Deaconess Abiodun retired from active service as Head of Section – Planing-PR&S, Irepodun Local Government Education Authority, Ilobu.

Hon. Abiodun, in his congratulatory message, described his wife, who just retired , as an intelligent civil servant and diligent bureaucrat who had served the state meticulously.

He also lauded the experience and expertise of Mrs. Abiodun who he said had bequeathed legacies of diligence, loyalty, forthrightness, commitment and dedication to civil service.

His words: “Retirement is one of those major milestones in one’s life which marks the end of one chapter and the start of another.

“Boundless joy fills my heart today, seeing that you are healthily retiring from the service of the Local Government Education Authority, where you have served the state with zeal and zest in you.

“Of course, you have been a good and God fearing woman. As teacher for several years and head of section of Local Government Education Authority, Ilobu, I celebrate your display of wit and wisdom in managing the affairs until your retirement.

“You have shown resilience, doggedness, unparalleled expertise and uncommon intelligence in the service to the State and humanity.

“Today, working round the clock in and out of the office for never-ending days, for the last 30 years, has finally come to an end. Although you are taking a bow today, it will, however, remain on record that you have done so well and the State will continue to remember you for good”, he added.
