Pictorial: Students Protest ASUU Strike In Ilorin
Students have rallied around the University of Ilorin, Kwara State, on Tuesday, taking the paths of their counterparts nationwide in protesting the lingering strike action of the Academic Staff Union of Universities.
It was reported that students had vowed to continue protests across the country until the Federal Government acceded to the demands of ASUU and the schools reopened.
Agitations had since intensified in the country since the striking union announced a 12-week extension of their strike after its National Executive Meeting on Monday, stating that it was giving the government enough time to satisfactorily resolve all the outstanding issues.
