OSPOLY: Uphold Your Alma Mater, Best Professional Practice–HOD Mass Comm Charges Alumni
The Head, Department of Mass Communication, Osun State polytechnic Iree, Mr Tope Abiola has called on members of Mass Communication Alumni Association ( MAOS) to continue adding value to the good image of their alma mater and to ensure best professional practice as they had been thought while in school.
Mr Abiola gave the charge at the monthly meeting of Mass Communication Alumni association of the institution ( MAOS) in osogbo, the Osun State Capital.
Addressing MAOS members, he noted that it’s atmost important for the association to continue in its good direction of professionalism which has brought fame and honour to the department and the institution as a whole.
“You have been doing wonderfully well in practice of journalism , that which has made us proud beyond the immediate and I will charge you to continue in that direction,the sky is your limit”,he said.
In the same vein,the National President, Mass Communication Alumni of Ospoly, Iree (MAOS), Femi Salawu, thanked the HOD for always being there for the association, saying every member is working tirelessly to ensure and maintain more mutual relationship with the department and the institution.
He, therefore, enjoined Ospoly Mass communication students to be up and doing in their study,as seriousness and prayer are keys to success in the field of journalism.
HOD Abiola, who is also the Media Relations Officer of the institution, however noted that the School Authority is pleased with effort of the Mass Communication Alumni for adding value to the institution.
