Get Your PVC, NAOSS President Charges Osun Students

The President, National Association of Osun State Students, Comrade Yusuf Agboola popularly known as ‘Justice’ has called on all Osun state students to get their permanent voters card so as to speak in unison.

The president said, students fall in the youth category that represent the highest percentage of the society, hence there is need for them to let their impact be felt.

According to him, The voters card is essential for all students in a bid to choose the leadership that will represent their interest and elevate the standards of education to the desirable heights.

Comrade Justice made this remarks at the 2022 NAOSS Anniversary, Adeyemi University Chapter, Ondo state.

Comrade Justice who assured the students of the readiness of the national body to champion all possible course to fight for the yearning and aspirations of students populace noted that if at all education will not be free, it should be real.

He said voters registration by students is no more a choice but a necessary efforts to claim the right for a standard education and deserved opportunity.

While appreciating the state government for its efforts in making life better for Osun students, he said Governor Oyetola has approved the payment of Bursary for students of the state.

Comrade, Justice assured that all duly compiled lists of students will receive their alert in no long distance time.

He charged all students to be good ambassadors of the state of the virtue, stressing that integrity is the greatest asset.
In his words, “The education in the state of osun is getting better on daily basis, but much still needed to be done to get to the desired feet.

“It is through our vote that will can speak because Inec count vote not agitation, so it is high time we elect the leader we want most especially as the state gubernatorial election is approaching as well as the Presidential election in 2023.

“However, while we’re advocating for the candidate of our choice, let us do it inline with the provision of the constitution of Nigeria and never must we engage in violence or politics of acrimony that can turn our society into wilderness.”

Award of excellence were thereafter presented to the president.
