The member representing Ila State Constituency, Honourable Lateef Adebisi Jayeola has congratulated the pioneer chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Chief Adebisi Akande over the resounding victory of his long time political associate Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu(BAT) at the just concluded APC primaries.
In a press statement to celebrate Asiwaju’s victory, Jayeola adjudged his emergence a well deserved one, a first he hinged on the former Lagos state governor’s stake as a Frontline Yoruba politician who is eminently qualified to lead Nigeria on a strategic journey of all round recovery.
Jayeola, who eulogized and lauded the inborn leadership wisdom brought to the fore by chief Adebisi Akande towards the selection of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu a step which led to voluntarily stepped down of some Southwest aspirants who later sacrifice their presidential ambition for the eventual emergence of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the Party presidential candidate for next year general elections is quite outstanding.
He however prayed Almighty God to grant Chief Adebisi Akande more years of service in good health, in his quest and determination to contribute to growth and development of the nation.
He used the same spirit to describe Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a trailblazer in Nigeria’s democracy.
He therefore passed a vote of confidence in the ability of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu(BAT) to nip in the bud, the many challenges confronting different sectors of Nigeria especially as it relates to security, economy, national coersion.

He assured the rank and file of the APC that the emergence of the National leader of the party as it’s flag bearer is a guarantee of victory for the party come 2023.
