Fire Renders Man Homeless In Ilesa

A man has been rendered homeless on Wednesday in a fire outbreak that occurred to a building located at the axis of imo hill farm road in Ilesa East Local Government area of osun state.

CityMirrorNews gathered that the fire outbreak occurred in the evening time of Wednesday 7th September,2022,and raised down the whole building.

The fire which was said to have escalated before it was noticed by passersby around 6:15PM, as nobody could ascertain the cause of the fire which an eye witness said lasted for over two hours.

It was gathered that the building belong to one Mr.Dapo, a member of Christ’s Trumpeters Church in ilesa who was said to have left home around 5:00pm to a program at the church headquarters located at ilesa-Akure express way before he was notified about the incident.

According to an eyewitness who spoke With our correspondent on the condition of anonymity said men of firefighters from the state Fire Service were called upon but that their arrival could not make any difference as they were unable to drive up the hill and later ran for their dear lives as they noticed some people wanted to attack them for not responding on time.

As the house owner rushed back home,he was said to be dumb-founded and later surmount courage and started speaking from the bible.

“We left home around 5:00PM to the church before I received a phone call that I should be coming home that there is fire in my house.

“I thank God for everything,there is no need to be worrying over just ordinary mud.What matters now is for everybody to move closer to Jesus so as to be saved.

“The burning hell fire is more than what you are seeing now so hold on to Jesus”, the house owner concluded.

No content of the building was saved from the hand of the inferno as no one could move closer to the burning fire.Fortunately there was no casualty in the incident.

It was learned that the family moved into the building in the year 1996 when the area was yet to be developed to what it is today.

Every effort made to contact the state Fire Service to hear their own side of the story as at the time of filling this report proofed abortive.
