Aremo Congratulates Distinguished Indigenes Bestowed With Islamic Titles By Osogbo Muslim Community

The Special Adviser to Governor Gboyega Oyetola on Youth and Sports, Hon Adegboyega Adelabu Aremo has congratulated four prominent Osogbo Indigenes on their new Islamic titles bestowed on them by the Osogbo Muslim community.

The SA, who described the Islamic titles as well deserved, said the newly turberned Muslim umah have contributed immensely to the growth of Islamic religion in Osogbo and its environs , hence the recognition given to them by the Osogbo Muslim community.

Aremo in a congratulatory message in Osogbo commended the new chiefs for always contributing to the propagation of Islam and for striving to bring development into Osogbo and seeking the progress of indigenes of the town .

Aremo noted that the bestowment of Islamic title is the Osogbo Muslim community’s ways of identifying Muslims who have in one way or the other contributed greatly to the propagation of Islam.

He said giving these people recognition by the Muslim Community is also a way to encourage others to continue striving to excel in their various endeavours and in the area of religious services .

“The new Islamic title holders should see the conferment of titles on them as a challenge to work harder for unity, and peaceful coexistence among the Muslim umah and people of the ancient town of Osogbo.

“The new turberned Muslims have been selected among many qualified Osogbo indigenes and they now have the duty to justify the confidence reposed on them by the Chief Imam and entire Muslim community who has perfectly played the role of a good father to all Muslim.” he said

Alh. Kadiri Adebayo Jimoh as Giwa Adeen of Osogbo and Alh. Yekeen Adesina as Saraki Adeen Of Osogbo.
