“Representatives of SWAGA and the party in this federal constituency will go to their various local government areas, wards and units to tell the people that work has really started for Asiwaju. What we are doing is sensitization, to let people know that Asiwaju will become president and we want members to support him from now on, Omidiran said.
Speaking, a national officer, SWAGA, Oyetunde Ojo said the movement was out working to ensure its resolve to secure up to 15million votes for Tinubu.
Ojo expressed optimism that the presidential candidate of APC’s victory would be landslide at the poll in February.
We started three years ago, we said he (Tinubu) was going to emerge the candidate of the party and he actually became the candidate of the party, and I can tell you that come February he’s going to become the president elect of this country. We are very optimistic that it’s going to be a landslide victory.
Also, a coordinator of SWAGA in IBO federal constituency, Adebayo Adeleke popularly known as BANIK opined that Nigeria is not a nation for a beginner to lead, saying Tinubu has the exposure and pedigree to lead the country.
He noted that if Lagos could become a mega city with the template left behind for the state by Asiwaju, Nigeria could attain such a status when it is led by Tinubu.
