2023: Group Endorses Ondo Speaker, Oleyelogun For Reps
LlAhead of the 2023 general elections, Speaker, Ondo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Bamidele Oleyelogun, has been endorsed by a coalition of socio-political groups in Ifedore Local Government Area of the state under the aegis of Ifedore Coalition For Good Governance for the Idanre/Ifedore federal constituency’s seat at House of Representatives.
According to the group, the choice of Oleyelogun was borne out of his performances since he began to represent the state constituency.
Oleyelogun, who is a third term lawmaker in the state House of Assembly, is currently vying for the Idanre/Ifedore federal constituency’s seat at House of Representatives.
According to the coalition, “The Speaker is well experienced in the lawmaking business. This is his third tern in the state House of Assembly and he would surely be respected at the National Assembly if elected.
“One thing is sacrosanct at the National Assembly and the Senate, senior lawmakers are respected and honoured by members.
“The more experienced members are appointed into juicy House committees to head and this always rob off on their constituencies in terms of projects facilitated to their constituencies.
” We don’t need to send a learner to the House of Representatives, it will surely affect us.
“We need good and strong representation that would engender great development in all the communities in our federal constituency.”
